Here’s the current situation:

• Under Construction:
  • Team
    • The team of pastors, elders, parents, adults, young adults, and teens is being assembled. We have three basic groups at the moment, the Veterans team (For accountability: elders, pastors, and parents), the Pilots (Leaders: adults, young adults, and teens), and the members. [NOTE: These team names are NOT final]
  • Website
    • Not only is the video editing branch under construction (releasing January 1st) but as the team is organized, the entire new website is continually be pieced together as God provides inspirations and devoted team members.
  • Film
    • Obviously there’s major work going on right now to set up the filming work, such as how we’ll train, what equipment will be used where and when, which script, and so on.
• PRAYER
  • We NEED your prayer for all of the above listed things! PLEASE pray right now, and spread the word!
  • Also please pray for:
    • Finances (we are not fund-raising)
      • to come in for the filming and missions trips. (Oops, did I let that spill? It’s coming with the new website…)
    • Team members
      • to stay in touch, pray, and for God to keep bringing them!
    • Opportunities
      • to share The Gospel in our everyday lives, eyes to see them, and the Holy Spirit to speak!

Yes, we’re all still around, but we’ve been working so hard there hasn’t been much publication of our whereabouts…and for that I apologize. But it will be this way no more.

Please tell your friends, family, and all others that Upward Momentum is alive! The film making branch of the website WILL BE UP JANUARY 1ST! Thank you for your patience!

Once it is up, we’ll be organizing a film making cast and crew…don’t think we won’t need you!

Big update: The ENTIRE Upward Momentum ministry is basically on hold until we make some videos that are necessary for the new website. WE NEED YOUR PRAYERS!
Here’s the prayer requests, quoted from the above blog:

“…we really need prayer for a huge video project coming up…the ministry website (upwardm.com) is delayed until this gets done, it’s priority 1!

Please pray right now for:

• Wisdom in desicions (such as equipment, cast, crew, etc.)
• Wise use of funds
• Safety in a world of materialism and huge battles directly related to media
• The correct use of The Word in all that we do!”

We’ve got a ’shared items’ page (from google reader), basically out of the gobs of blogs and things read through, the best articles/posts/quotes are marked and automatically put on this page! Another update:

If you didn’t notice, the blog and forum went down for a while there. Guess this new web host isn’t as great as they said they were…big surprise. But I really can’t blame it on them, there are bigger forces…bigger enemies, that really don’t want this website up. And they’re fighting hard, we need prayer!

But we’re still working on the new website (along with some other new ministry websites) and it IS coming along. At the moment I’m debugging all the pages, and making the website intro.

Need to get back to work, please keep up the prayers!
